In an interview with Spinner.com, guitarist Joe Perry said “We’ll probably release some of the music from our new record as a download so kids can plug it in and play some new tunes on the game.”

Though certainly not concrete, this would suggest they are looking for new ways to make their music available to audiences, such as offering DLC for Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.
